3D Order Management: WooCommerce & PrestaShop to Work Orders

A mini ERP for small 3D print farms: a paid order from your shop becomes a work order and you schedule it on a printer; the orders you take yourself get their quote and invoice from the same place.

Orders, quotes and invoices are on the FARM plans: 14-day trial, a card is required and nothing is charged during the trial.

How an order moves

A paid order arrives

The plugin in your WooCommerce or PrestaShop shop, or the webhook in your Shopify admin, forwards it, and a work order is created with the customer, the items and the quantities.

Payment is confirmed

Orders that still wait for payment stay apart; once payment is confirmed the work order is ready to plan.

You schedule it

You decide which printer runs it and when, on the Farm Timeline. Nothing is sent to a printer on its own.

Quote, invoice, done

For the orders you take yourself, the quote comes from the work order and the invoice from the quote, as a PDF or through Minimax; a shop order is invoiced by the shop. The order ends as completed.

Order management FAQ

Which webshops can send orders?
Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop. WooCommerce and PrestaShop forward paid orders through a small plugin you install in your shop; Shopify sends them through a webhook you add in the Shopify admin, with nothing to install. In 3D Print Manager they become work orders. This is part of the FARM Connect plan.
Are orders sent to printers automatically?
No. A work order waits for you to schedule it on a printer. 3D Print Manager does not send files to printers or start prints on its own.
Can I add orders by hand?
Yes. Orders that come by email, message or in person can be entered as work orders on FARM Core, so every job lives in the same list.
Can it make quotes and invoices?
Yes, on FARM Connect, for the orders you take yourself: a quote from the work order, and an invoice from the quote, as a PDF or through Minimax. A shop order is invoiced by the shop. Bookkeeping stays in your accounting tool.
Is there a trial?
Every new account starts with 14 days of PRO, no credit card. The FARM plans have their own 14-day trial: a card is required and nothing is charged during the trial.
